Proof that I may have to switch to the fire-and-brimstone approach to potty training:

"Mama, Liza pee-pee on ground. (she pauses, then says brightly) That's okay, everyone has accidents sometimes."

    Yesterday, I caught my young daugter sitting on the toilet urinating through her bathing suit.

    I guess I should be glad that at least it is on the toilet.

    Sigh.
