Look! She's wearing normal clothes! That's because we got home from the grocery store 5 minutes before the truck pulled up to deliver the cabinets. She was back in fairy princess mode 5 minutes after they left.And yes, she IS working the Heidi braided pigtails. We've got to do something to keep her hair from getting so tangled, so we're trying this before I shave her bald in a fit of hair-brushing-rebellion-fueled rage.

I empathize with the rage induced by hair tangles. As the one who takes care of the kids in the morning while my wife goes to work, my only solution is massive amounts of conditioner.
Conditioner is a separate budget item in our house.
